TAROT FAQs
- 01Tarot is a system of divination that uses a set of cards to guide a querent in the right direction. The reader uses his / her intuition while reading the cards to derive messages that the universe wishes to deliver to the querent.
- 02Tarot is a spiritual tool to gain clarity on aspects that are currently not visible to you. Tarot lifts the curtain and gives you a perspective that otherwise is not available. Tarot card reading is not necessarily predictive or fortune telling, but simply a potential road ahead and related advice and lessons to be learnt in order to take such road.
- 03Tarot cards are a deck of cards with unique symbols and imagery. They are often used for divination, self-reflection, and gaining insights into various aspects of life. Tarot card meanings are subject to wide interpretation based on the intuition of the tarot card reader. Further, multiple tarot spreads may be used by the tarot reader to help in arriving at the right guidance and answers from the tarot cards.
- 04A standard tarot deck consists of 78 cards. This deck is divided into the Major Arcana (22 cards) and the Minor Arcana (56 cards).
- 05The Major Arcana cards in tarot represent significant life events, archetypal figures, and major themes. They often carry a more profound and universal meaning in card readings.
- 06The Minor Arcana cards in tarot are divided into four suits (usually Cups, Pentacles, Swords, and Wands). They represent everyday events, emotions, and challenges in life.
- 07During a tarot reading, a reader shuffles the cards and lays them out in a spread. The cards are then interpreted based on their symbolism and the reader's intuition to provide insights or answers to questions.
- 08Tarot can indicate the future and along with that also suggests steps to be taken, advise to be heeded and lessons to be learnt to manifest that future. Tarot does not indicate random fortune landing on your lap, but needs action to be taken from your end to get to the future indicated by tarot. Here, I wish to break the general belief on predictive readings and highlight that tarot cannot come true unless it is supported by the right actions and movements by you.
- 09Tarot readings can include elements of fortune-telling, but they are primarily a tool for gaining self-awareness, guidance, and understanding rather than predicting specific events.
